We came here for our New Years dinner last night. Although my first impression of the place wasn’t great, my mind quickly changed. Our server Laurel was amazing! I asked if I could swap the soup for a salad and with no hesitation she said it wouldn’t be a problem. We had the calamari to start. It was a huge portion. For our main course we ordered the filet mignon. I ordered it blue, my boyfriend ordered his rare and both were spot on perfect! We will definitely be going back!

Good hotel for a short stay, with or without the family. Depending on what you are looking for in a hotel.
I have only stayed in a room here, not a suite, so I cannot speak for a suitable length of stay for someone in a suite.

I attended a wedding reception at this hotel last week and I was very impressed with the meal, it consisted of a spinach and pear salad, chicken wrapped in pastry with roasted potatoes, carrots and beets topped off with a lemon cheese cake with raspberry coolee. I was not expecting a five star meal at a wedding but the chef’s at this hotel delivered just that. Thumbs up ?

My boyfriend brought me to Mariaggi's Theme Suite Hotel and Spa for my birthday. I had no idea where we were going and had never even heard of this place before last night. We had an amazing mini vacation. We stayed in the Morocco suite. The room has such a wonderful atmosphere. There were all kinds of artwork and statues throughout the suite. It had beautiful tile work and the attention to detail was extremely well done.
Morocco had a waterfall hot tub. The hot tub filled like a waterfall and we could turn a switch and it flowed through the hot tub as well as through the jets. The steam room had speakers inside. There was a really great stereo where we could hook up our Ipod/Iphone. The big TV swiveled and we could watch our movie from the hot tub or anywhere in the suite.
The dinner was served to us in the suite and it was hot and delicious. We had the couples massage the next day and we had such a relaxing morning - I really did not want to leave.
On check out we viewed Africa and Mexico which were also fantastic. The owners showed us the 1,000 sq.ft. Cuba suite they are building on the other side which will have its own out door deck and a pool table, waterfall hot tub etc..
Thank you for the great service, food and getaway place. This is one birthday I will always remember.

Right now it's pumpkin pie flavoured, and it's amazing. .
have also seen cotton candy, and also pineapple.
there's always a line up on hot days, but that's because they have great ice cream and great service.
After you get your ice cream, head over for a nice long walk in Assiniboine Park. Great location!

I stayed here while I was unable to travel far from the airport due to a snowstorm. It was one of the best experiences I've had with hotels in Manitoba. I'm used to staying in crummy rundown motels so this was definitely more my style. The rooms were actually clean and well taken care of and the service was extremely friendly

Buffet was plentiful and tasty. Ingredients were fresh and authentic from what I know of Indian cusine. Service is friendly and the family run atmosphere is fun. I really liked the mango lassi. there was no air conditioning though and on the hot hot evening I was there that was not pleasent.

I LOVE the dungeness crab in April and My Husband loves Lobster Summer. Make sure you get a Chocolate Martini... if you like that sort of thing!! I do!
